Garuda Mall Visit was held on 12 September 2025 for B.Sc. Interior Design students to provide practical exposure to retail interior design and visual merchandising through real-world observation.
Building Services Site Visit was held on 16 September 2025 to provide students with practical exposure to plumbing, lighting, electrical systems, HVAC, and STP operations, helping them understand real-time applications of building services in interior design.
Industrial Visit to Channapatna Toy Factory and Janapada Loka was held on 22 May 2025 to expose students to traditional craftsmanship, eco-friendly toy-making, and Karnataka’s folk culture, enhancing their understanding of indigenous arts, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
A live sketching session was integrated into the tour, enabling students to capture design elements and analyze proportions, styles, and detailing firsthand.
The Department of Interior Design and Decoration (B.Sc. IDD), in collaboration with the Department of Visual Arts, organized a practical and insightful class activity titled “Anatomy: Human Figure Sketching Workshop” on 24th February 2025, held in Classroom 601 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
The heritage visit to Bangalore Palace on 05 December 2025 offered MBA 1st year students an enriching blend of historical insight and practical learning. Students explored the palace’s architectural beauty and gained exposure to heritage tourism management. The visit enhanced their understanding of branding, customer experience, and sustainable tourism while promoting experiential learning beyond the classroom.

On the 13th of May, 2025, the Department of English-MUSES club, St. Francis College, organized a poetry writing competition for all the UG students. The name of the event was “Verse Voyage 3.0” and it is the third cycle of poetry competition held by the Muses club. The ‘Cooking Without Fire’ competition was successfully organized on November 5, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the College Quadrangle, under the auspices of the Chinnudi Kannada Sangha and Yuva Srijan Sahitya Sangh of the Department of Languages.
The Department of Hindi successfully organized a guest lecture on the topic “Paathykram mein Gadhya Vidhaon ki Sanrachna aur Swaroop par Charcha” for all Hindi students at the 4th Floor Seminar Hall. The primary objective of the lecture was to enhance students’ understanding of prose forms prescribed in the syllabus and to highlight their academic and literary relevance.
The Department of Languages organized a two-day educational trip titled “Nature Connect: Learning Beyond the Classroom” from 1st to 2nd December 2025 for the first- and second-year students of all courses. Students assembled at the college premises at 9:00 PM and began their journey toward Coorg and nearby regions. The purpose of this trip was to offer experiential learning opportunities that connect theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world experiences.

The Psychology Club Inauguration – SATVA Club, held on 20th August 2025, introduced the club’s vision of promoting mental health awareness and student leadership through structured activities and office bearer appointments.

The session by Mr. Nachiketh B focused on adolescent emotional and mental development, highlighting key challenges and coping strategies. The programme was informative, interactive, and enhanced students’ understanding of teenage mental health.
