Talent Scout 2025, the two-day cultural fest of St. Francis College held on 16th and 17th October 2025, was a vibrant celebration of student talent, creativity, and expression.
The 4th Annual Athletic Meet of St. Francis College was celebrated with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit, bringing together students from various departments to participate in a wide range of track and field events. The Industrial Visit to the Channapatna Toy Factory and Janapada Loka Cultural Center was conducted on 22-05-2025 under the coordination of Ms. Rekha V.S. and Ms. Jayanthi Y.S. The visit was organized with the objective of exposing students to traditional Indian craftsmanship and folk culture, thereby enhancing their understanding of indigenous arts, crafts, and rural heritage.

The 60 Second Hustle – Minute to Sell It event was organized with the objective of enhancing students’ communication, persuasion, and critical thinking skills through a time-bound selling challenge. The event aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical marketing concepts and practical application by placing students in real-time selling scenarios.
The Business Quiz was organized to enhance students’ understanding of business concepts, improve analytical abilities, and promote active learning through a competitive yet engaging platform. The event aimed to encourage students to stay updated with business trends, apply theoretical knowledge, and develop decision-making skills.
The Unicorn Squad hosted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 on 26 September 2025 at 2:30 PM. The event began with a warm general welcome by the emcee, followed by a solemn prayer setting a dignified tone for the proceedings.

On October 24th, 2025, the Department of English, in collaboration with the Muses Club, successfully organized a verse voyage competition. The competition took place in First Floor Room No. 103 on the college campus from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
On the 13th of May, 2025, the Department of English-MUSES club, St. Francis College, organized a poetry writing competition for all the UG students. The name of the event was “Verse Voyage 3.0” and it is the third cycle of poetry competition held by the Muses club. The event coordinator was Ms. Annu Sara Jose and the event was held in room 103 from 2:30 pm onwards.

The English Department’s Muses Club hosted a unique event titled “Adaptation Challenge” on 28th March 2025 at 2:30pm in 4th Floor Seminar Hall. This writing-based competition invited students to creatively adapt existing movie plots—reworking them with unexpected twists, genre swaps, or alternate endings.

The election of new office bearers for the academic year 2025-2026 was successfully conducted by the Hindi Club, “Yuva Srujan Sahitya Sangh” was held on 29/08/2025 in the 4Th Floor Seminar Hall of the college. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, marking an important milestone in the club’s leadership journey. The election was conducted following a transparent and democratic process, with all members being encouraged to participate in the nomination.

The Department of Hindi successfully organized an exciting quiz competition titled “Kaun Banega Gyaani” on 23 October 2025. The event aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of the Hindi language and general awareness while promoting learning through fun and interaction. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and active audience involvement, making it both educational and entertaining.
The ‘Cooking Without Fire’ competition was successfully organized on November 5, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the College Quadrangle, under the auspices of the Chinnudi Kannada Sangha and Yuva Srijan Sahitya Sangh of the Department of Languages.
The Department of Hindi successfully organized a guest lecture on the topic “Paathykram mein Gadhya Vidhaon ki Sanrachna aur Swaroop par Charcha” for all Hindi students at the 4th Floor Seminar Hall. The primary objective of the lecture was to enhance students’ understanding of prose forms prescribed in the syllabus and to highlight their academic and literary relevance.
The Department of Languages organized a two-day educational trip titled “Nature Connect: Learning Beyond the Classroom” from 1st to 2nd December 2025 for the first- and second-year students of all courses. Students assembled at the college premises at 9:00 PM and began their journey toward Coorg and nearby regions. The purpose of this trip was to offer experiential learning opportunities that connect theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world experiences.
The inauguration of the BA & BVA Club for the academic year 2025–2026 was held on 28 August 2025 in Room No. 610. The event commenced with a welcome address by Lia Mathew (II Year BVA). The Masters of Ceremony were Andrew Uparegh (II Year BA) and Sonu Krithika (III Year BA).
A debate competition on "GST 2.0 Reform" was successfully conducted on 18 September 2025. The event began with a welcome speech by the student coordinator, Reema Rose, who introduced the participants, audience, and judges, and explained the rules and evaluation criteria.
