The Department of MCA, St. Francis College, Bengaluru, organized an Industrial Visit to the Nandini – Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) Dairy Plant at Shivanahalli, Kanakapura, on 27 January 2026, as part of an IQAC initiative. The visit was arranged for I Year and II Year MCA students with the objective of providing practical exposure to real-world industrial operations. During the visit, students gained valuable insights into large-scale milk processing, quality assurance practices, packaging systems, cold chain management, and distribution mechanisms adopted by the dairy plant. The technical team at the plant explained the end-to-end workflow, including procurement of raw milk, testing procedures, pasteurization, automation processes, and final product dispatch.
