The Aptitude Simulation Programme was organized with the primary objective of evaluating and enhancing students’ problem-solving, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude skills. In today’s competitive environment, such skills are vital not only for academic excellence but also for success in employability assessments conducted by recruiters during campus placements. Hence, the programme was designed to create a simulated testing environment that mirrors real-world placement and competitive exam scenarios. The execution of the programme involved administering a structured aptitude test covering core areas such as quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. The test was carefully designed to align with the patterns of common placement tests, thereby providing students with a practical experience that closely reflects industry expectations. Students were required to manage their time effectively, apply logical reasoning, and showcase accuracy under pressure—skills crucial for success in real examinations. Following the test, students received individual feedback highlighting their performance across different sections. This feedback enabled participants to identify their strengths as well as areas that require further improvement. The structured analysis also provided valuable insights into test-taking strategies, including time management and prioritization of questions. Faculty mentors facilitated a short debrief session, emphasizing best practices, common errors, and preparation tips to strengthen employability-based competencies. In conclusion, the Aptitude Simulation Programme proved to be a meaningful exercise in preparing students for future recruitment processes. By bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, the programme enhanced both confidence and competence among participants. Students are now better equipped to approach actual employability tests with a clearer understanding of their capabilities and areas for growth.
