International Hindi Week – Hindi Parv 2025Sixth Day: Online Lecture (September 13, 2025)On September 13, 2025, the sixth day of International Hindi Week – Hindi Parv 2025, an important online lecture was successfully organized. The webinar was jointly conducted by the Karnataka State University Hindi Professors’ Association, Karnataka Hindi Sahitya Bharati, and St. Francis College, Koramangala. The main objective of the programme was to discuss the Indian perspective and the global status of the Hindi language.The lecture was based on the theme “Hindi: The Indian and Global Current,” highlighting Hindi’s growing importance not only as a national language but also as a global medium of communication. Today, Hindi plays a significant role in culture, literature, journalism, cinema, digital platforms, and international trade.The chief guest and keynote speaker, Prof. Shambhunath Tiwari, Senior Professor, Department of Hindi, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered an insightful lecture on the present and future of Hindi. He emphasized that Hindi is widely spoken and understood across the world, supported by Hindi literature, the Indian diaspora, and modern technology. He expressed confidence in Hindi’s bright future with collective efforts for its promotion.Dr. Manjunath, President of the Association, highlighted Hindi as the soul of Indian culture and emphasized its growing popularity in South India. Dr. Vinay Kumar Yadav, General Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was conducted via Google Meet, with Dr. Lathif Ahmed welcoming the guests and participants. Dr. Prachi Tripathi efficiently moderated the session, while Ms. Sasikala coordinated student participation.The active involvement of students and faculty from India and abroad made the event meaningful and successful. The programme strengthened awareness, pride, and motivation toward Hindi’s national and global relevance, making the sixth day of Hindi Parv 2025 memorable and inspiring.
