The heritage visit to Bangalore Palace was an enriching experience for MBA 1st year students, blending historical insight with practical learning. Known for its Tudor-style architecture, elegant wood carvings, and royal ambience, the palace offered students a glimpse into the legacy of the Wadiyar dynasty. Walking through its grand halls, decorated with vintage furniture and paintings, helped students appreciate the cultural heritage and architectural brilliance of the era.
From a management perspective, the visit provided valuable exposure to heritage tourism and its role in economic development. Students observed how historical sites are preserved, marketed, and managed to attract both domestic and international tourists. This real-world context enhanced their understanding of concepts like branding, customer experience, and sustainable tourism management.

The visit also encouraged team interaction and experiential learning outside the classroom. It allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical observations, making learning more engaging and memorable. Overall, the heritage visit to Bangalore Palace was not only informative but also inspired students to appreciate the importance of preserving cultural assets while exploring innovative ways to promote them in today’s competitive tourism industry.
