The Well Being Blueprint : Strategies for a Healthy Mindset Workshop


The seminar “Strategies for a Healthy Mindset”, held on 14th May 2025 and organized by Ms. Soujanya Jairaj, focused on promoting mental well-being among students by highlighting the importance of self-awareness, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and positive coping strategies. The session provided practical techniques to manage stress, build resilience, and maintain a balanced and healthy mindset.

Psychology Club Inauguration


The Psychology Club Inauguration – SATVA Club, held on 20th August 2025, introduced the club’s vision of promoting mental health awareness and student leadership through structured activities and office bearer appointments. 

Cognitive Shift – Exploring the Power of CBT


“Cognitive Shift – Exploring the Power of CBT”, conducted on 21 November 2025, was an interactive guest lecture that helped psychology students understand CBT concepts and apply thought-reframing techniques in everyday life. 

Navigating Teenager Understanding: Emotional and Mental Changes


The Department of Psychology organised a guest lecture titled “Navigating Teenager Understanding: Emotional and Mental Changes” on 26 November 2025 at St. Francis College, Bengaluru. The session by Mr. Nachiketh B focused on adolescent emotional and mental development, highlighting key challenges and coping strategies. The programme was informative, interactive, and enhanced students’ understanding of teenage mental health.

Brain Battle - Quiz Competition


The Sathva Club, an initiative of IQAC, St. Francis College, Bengaluru, organized a Quiz Competition on 07 March 2026 in Room No. 408 to promote knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork among students. Five teams participated in various quiz rounds conducted by Quiz Master Haleema and hosted by Zoya. The event was engaging and competitive, encouraging students to showcase their knowledge and win cash prizes while fostering a spirit of healthy academic competition. 

Mind Maze - Sathva Club


The Mind Maze event was conducted on 15-04-2026 in Room 408 for Psychology students as a fun, puzzle-based competition. Eight teams participated, showcasing teamwork and problem-solving skills. Hosted by Ms. Zoya Fathima and Mr. Ethan, and conducted by Mr. Gowtham and Mr. Manohar, the event successfully combined learning with interactive activities and was well-received by all participants.

Murder Mystery - Sathva Club


The Department of Science – Psychology (PJC) organized the Murder Mystery event on 16-04-2026, engaging 18 teams in a thrilling, puzzle-based competition. Students worked collaboratively to analyze clues and solve a fictional crime, showcasing critical thinking and teamwork. Organized with the support of Sathva Club members and volunteers, the event successfully combined learning with fun and was highly interactive and well-received.
