The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) was established in the academic year 2020-21 to promote entrepreneurial spirit among students. Through a variety of activities, the cell encourages students to bring forth their innovative ideas and transform them into successful business ventures. By fostering a passion for self-employment, the EDC aims to nurture future job creators and providers, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to the economy as entrepreneurs rather than job seekers.
Vision:
To nurture a robust entrepreneurial community within the college that inspires students to be innovative leaders and effective job creators who spark economic development and social transformation.
Mission:
The EDC aims to inspire and support students in developing entrepreneurial skills through mentorship, training, workshops, seminars and industry interactions. It helps students build confidence and gain knowledge to turn their business ideas into reality.
Objectives:
• To conduct entrepreneurship development and awareness programs that equip students with essential entrepreneurial skills.
• To motivate students by facilitating interactions with successful entrepreneurs who share their experiences and insights.
• To inculcate a passion for self-employment among students by promoting an entrepreneurial mindset and spirit.
• To build self-confidence among students and encourage them to transform their innovative ideas into business ventures.
