Purpose of the Visit: The primary objectives of the industrial visit were as follows:

• To expose students to real-world IT practices and innovations.

• To provide an understanding of the technological infrastructure and processes involved in an IT Firm.

• To provide knowledge about High Performance Computing and insights on Super Computers.

• To facilitate interaction between students and professionals to gain industry insights and career Guidance

Activities and Observations: During the visit, the students engaged in various activities and made several observations:

• Company Overview: The visit commenced with an insightful explanation on the history, mission, and core values of CDAC, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the organization's background.

 • Technological Infrastructure: Students were given a tour of the company's facilities, including data centres, server rooms, and the supercomputers named PARAM PADMA and PARAM UTKARSH. They gained insights into the hardware and software infrastructure powering the firm's operations.

• Project Demonstrations: The students had the opportunity to witness live super computers developed by the company. This first-hand experience provided valuable insights into the practical application of IT solutions.

• Interactive Sessions: Engaging Q&A sessions were held with professionals from development department, allowing students to clarify doubts, discussing about advanced computing, and learn about career opportunities within the organization.

• Networking Opportunities: Students had the chance to network with professionals and gain valuable industry contacts. This interaction facilitated knowledge exchange and provided valuable insights into career paths and skill requirements.
