As part of the nationwide initiative of Swachhata Pakhwada 2025, our college conducted a special Cleanliness Awareness Programme to promote hygiene and responsible waste management practices among students.

Activities Conducted

1. Cleanliness Quiz
   • A quiz competition was organized on the theme of Swachhata (Cleanliness).
   • Students were divided into two groups and actively participated in answering questions related to cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management.
   • The quiz aimed at enhancing awareness about personal hygiene, campus cleanliness, city sanitation, and environmental protection.
2. Awareness Session
   • Following the quiz, an interactive awareness program was conducted.
   • Students discussed important topics such as:
     • Maintaining clean surroundings in classrooms, laboratories, and hostel premises.
     • Importance of waste segregation into biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste.
     • Practices for maintaining clean cities and homes.
     • The vision and mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – to achieve a Clean India by ensuring hygiene, sanitation, and sustainable waste management.
3. Student Engagement
   • Students shared ideas on how each individual can contribute towards cleanliness.
   • Practical tips were exchanged on reducing plastic use, proper disposal of waste, and adopting eco-friendly habits.

Outcome

• The program created a sense of responsibility among students to keep their college premises clean.
• Students gained clarity on the importance of segregating waste at source.
• The mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was reinforced, encouraging students to spread the message beyond the campus and into their communities.

Conclusion

The Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 quiz and awareness program proved to be an enriching and impactful activity. It not only enhanced knowledge but also instilled the spirit of collective action towards cleanliness. With such initiatives, our institution continues to support the vision of a clean, green, and healthy India.
