TOPIC: Breath in, Reach out: Orientation on Mental Health and Counselling

The Counselling Cell organized an Orientation Session on Mental Health and Counselling, conducted by Ms. Ayesha Mehka H, Student Counsellor, St. Francis College, for 1st-semester UG students from July 21 to August 30, 2025. The session focused on Mental Health Awareness and Campus Counselling services.

The sessions aimed to introduce students to the importance of mental health, promote a supportive environment, and equip them with basic strategies for maintaining well-being. The outcome was overwhelmingly positive, with students gaining a better understanding of mental health, awareness of counselling services, and a supportive, stigma-free environment.
