Data Presentation on COVID-19
Objective: Data presentation contest aims for the students to use their knowledge, understanding and awareness in creating their data visualization about COVID-19.
Learning outcome: It helps them to enjoy, appreciate & acquire the basic knowledge of the subject also to discover the intrinsic aesthetics of the subject.

The Department of Statistics organised a competition on ‘Statista Infographics’, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at St. Francis College.
Data presentation using power point. The students used COVID-19 data in India- state wise, country wise, or district wise. 23 students had participated in the competition. We circulate the notification two weeks before the given date and the last date of submission was 30th September 2020.
The event was organized with the help of Dr. Iyappan. M, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics. All students participated earnestly in the competition. They came up with amazing creativity. Their efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all.
The final judgment was made by Ms. Latha. J (HOD, Department of Statistics) and Dr. Iyappan. M, Assistant Professor Department of Statistics, St. Francis College.
