Objective of the activity : The key objective of road safety and traffic awareness program was to provide road safety information for road users to encourage safer road user behaviour among current and prospective road users and reduce the number of people killed and injured on our roads every year and to educate the traffic rules and etiquette to be followed by all the citizens.

How was the activity executed ? All the MBA students assembled in quadrangle by 2.15 pm for the session by Mr. B Shivashankar, Assistant Commissioner of Police. The session started by the MC with a welcome address and introduction of resource person. The Director, Deputy Director and Principal welcome the Chief Guest and all their department colleagues. Further, the commissioner addressed all the students and he gave some of the statistics and how congested is to commute from one place to another and addressed on the various issue of road safety and traffic. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks and felicitated the chief guest. All the students were taken for an awareness rally to educate the society about the road safety.

Key Highlights : All the students were actively involved and part of the rally conducted. Everybody felt it is their social responsibility to educate the people on it.
