Activity : A Session on “Importance of Communication Skills in the Real World”

Objective of the activity : The main objective of the session was to make students communicate well and understand the reality and importance of being the good communicator which are the most important life skills or soft skills to learn and adapt.

How was the activity executed? The activity was executed on 28th March 2022 through offline mode to all the students of MBA and MCA I Year in the Seminar hall from 10.45 am onwards. The session started by Mr. Karthik P, Assistant Professor & HOD, with a small introductory story relating to the topic continued with importance of communication to sustain in the real competitive world and stressed on all the students to work on their non-verbal communication which contributes to 55% of effective communication. The activity was a combination of theoretical aspects with activities. The session ended at 11.45 am with a key message to communicate well and be Optimistic in all the situations and circumstances.

Level of achievement : Satisfactory / Not Satisfactory Satisfactory
Activities Conducted : Theoretical session with a story and a Chinese whisper Activity.
Key Highlights : Majority of the students were actively involved in listening and agreed to work on their communication skills along with their body language skills.
Recommendations (if any) : Students are willing to have such sessions in the near future.
