The contest was held on 21-11-2020, Saturday from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. Participants had to register by clicking on https://forms.gle/qvPhsb4CrB3vPbd8A.

• It was an individual event.
• At 9.45 am. on 21-11-2020, the link for participating in the contest was shared via email to registered participants.
• One who completes the hunt first and in the stipulated time, wins the contest.
• A feedback form was sent to the participants via email, after the event.
• E-Certificates was issued only to those participants who attended the contest and submitted the feedback form.

The results were declared on 21-11-2020. Mahalakshmi D of I B.Com. (A&F) ‘B’ bagged the first place and Harshini L. of B.Com. CA won second place and Anjali Krishna of I B.Com. (hon) won third place. Participation certificates were sent to all the participants. Prizes and certificates were sent to the winners.

Objectives Adapting a classroom experience to the home environment
• Helps students tie mathematical concepts to their reality.
• This activity will help expand students’ understanding of the scope of math in their lives. For even greater relevance, we encourage them to tie their math lessons to real-world problem-solving, as well as careers requiring math expertise.
• It will spark genuine interest and excitement in students about topics which may not normally have time for in the classroom.
To encourage students to share their creative and innovative approaches.
To make students think, reason, analyse and articulate logically.
Acquire knowledge of facts, concepts, theories and principles.
Develop the ability to communicate mathematical ideas with precision.
Learning Outcome To develop their mathematical perspective.
Supports student’s positive perception towards using technology.
• Engagement- students love running around and finding clues (both physically and electronically). They are so immersed in the mystery and excitement, that they don’t even consider it an educational activity.
• Independence- All students need is a device. The rest is already there for them!
• Revision- Digital scavenger hunts allows students to use clues along their hunt, and these clues are related to the subject.
• Assessment- When students solve clues, it indicates they understand the content of the scavenger hunt(subject).

Procedure/ Details Participant must be pursuing any UG course.

Individual event.
Participants will be shared the link of the scavenger hunt via email at 9.45 am. The activity begins at 10 am.
Questions/clues/images in the google form will all be related to mathematics. Whoever completes the hunt in the stipulated time, wins the contest.
E-Certificates will be given to all participants who submit their feedback form which will be sent to their email id’s after the event.
