4	Objectives	National Statistics Day 2021 in India: • Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in the fields of economic planning and statistical development in the post independent era, the Govt. of India has decided to designate 29th June every year, coinciding with his birth anniversary, as Statistics Day in the category of special day to be celebrated at the national level. • The day is celebrated to popularise the use of Statistics in daily life and also make us people understand how Statistics help in shaping and framing the policies. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, this year National Statistics Day is celebrated virtually, in view of the travel and safety advisories.
5	Learning Outcome	Mathematics and statistics open doors in engineering, business, finance, computing, data sciences, health sciences, environmental sciences and public policy. They are also fascinating in their own right. Recent discoveries in the mathematical sciences have played an essential role in internet search algorithms, disease control, communications technology, climate modelling and much more. Mathematics and Statistics are among the most important disciplines in today's complex world, in part because they serve as the common language of science.
6	Procedure/ Details	Participant must be pursuing any UG/PG course. Participants have to register at ___Link________________Individual event. Participants will be shared the link of the quiz via email at 3.45 pm. The activity begins at 4.00 pm. Multiple choice questions will all be related to Statistics help in shaping and framing the real life policies E-Certificates will be given to 50 percent of the total number of questions in order to pass the test.

The Main objective of this quiz is to enlarge the respondent's knowledge about Professor PC Mahalanobis Birthday and their contribution to Statistics Daily Life.
