Objectives of the activity:
The aim of this event is to identify the student with the traits of a good manager. It also aims to find out how he demonstrates the skills, knowledge and talents of a good manager. It Further tests him on how he uses the strategies to solve the problems.

Execution Procedure/Details:
Competition was carried out on 5 August 2023. Five interesting rounds were scheduled to assess the logic, reasoning, marketing skill, fundraising ability and to check the stress handling capacity.

Programme outcome:
This event helps students to improve the skills required to be a good manager like communication, presentation, analytical thinking, problem solving and overall development.

Brief Summary:
Round 1 Aptipedia: written round where the 20 participants answered a series questions consisting logical reasoning, marketing, HR, finance, general knowledge, science, business. The top 15 participants were qualified to round 2 and 3.

Round 2: situational Analysis: each best manager participant was given a corporate situation and given 30 seconds to think and 1 minute to speak. Our respected judges Ms. Paromita Bose, Mr. Rav KiIran Petluri and Dr. Chandrika Reddy evaluated students based on their communication, ability to deliver the content and presentation skill.

Round 3: Press meet: Selected senior students acting as press shot questions to the best manager participants. The participants were given a case study and all of them were expected to act as BOD of ITC company and answer the questions asked by the press and convince them on their decision. Out of 15 participants 8 were selected for round 4.

Round 4: Fund raising: 8 qualifiers were asked to act as finance manager and raise funds by pitching their business idea to the investors. The investors were the crowd across the city. Participants with the highest funds qualified to the final round.

Round 5: Stress interview: Ms Shrunga, HOD Dept. of M.Com and Mr. Karthik. Vice Principal were the judges for the finale. Each finalist was interviewed in a hostile atmosphere creating stress. The judges acting as Board posed questions relating to personal, market, and research, marketing. The finalists Ms. Vineetha G, Mr. Nanda Gokul, Mr. Sujith, Mr. Sheik Tazkeer Ahmed, Mr. participated with zeal.

Best Manager Result
Mr. Sheik Tazkeer Ahmed was awarded the Best Manager title 2023.
