To empower the youth and align them to meet the future challenges, St. Francis College organized the programme ‘ Beyond Education’. Justice Dr. N Santosh Hegde – former justice Supreme court and Lokayukta, Mr K. Mathai , KAS , Special Land Acquisition Officer, BDA and Sister Annamma Phillip from the Xavier Board of Education in India graced this occasion. They shared their valuable experiences and insights about the human rights, integrity and justice.

A panel discussion on social justice and empowerment which was moderated by Mrs. Sameera Fernandes - Director of Planning & Strategy, St. Francis College highlighted the societal issues and the role of the youth. ‘An individual should stand-up for justice and uphold the honour of the nation’ – this was the essence of the panel discussion. The Anti-Ragging cell, Anti- Sexual harassment cell and Students’ Grievance cell were inaugurated as a part of this event.
