Objective:
To know about the growth of Indian sports and the contributions of Indian athletes to the country,
To motivate college students to take part in physical activity and sports.
To felicitate sports achievers of the college.

Outcomes:
Participants came to know about the development of sports in the country.
Students came to know about the student's achievements in the field of sports and games.

On AUGUST 2ND 2023, St.Francis College Department of Physical Education celebrated Annual Sports Day. Twelve (12) intramural/interclass sports competitions were conducted for the academic year 2022-23. On that day, The prize distribution of sports competitions held on the previous days was also held. More than 200 students participated in various sports events and were eligible for prizes. Athletics, Indoor Games, and Outdoor Games were conducted. The awarding ceremony honored the Department of Physical Education and selected 2 students for best outgoing sports persons based on their achievements. Sports persons who represented Karnataka in national competitions, India's international competitions, and the Banglore city university team were felicitated on the day.
