A REPORT ON THE EVENT “WAR OF WORDS”
1. NAME OF THE EVENT: War of Words-“Inter Class Debate Competition”.
OBJECTIVES OF THE EVENT:
• To encourage and involve the students in current issues.
• To exhibit students’ ideas and thoughts about the given topic.

OUTCOME OF THE EVENT:
• Opportunity to showcase students hidden talent.
• To identify and strengthen student’s ability.

Rules of the Competition:
1. It’s an Individual event.
2. The lime limit is given 3 to 4 min.
3. Participants should turn the video during their presentation.
4. Judges’ decision is final and binding.
5. Winners are awarded based on Clarity of the content, confidence level, spontaneous idea and execution and over all presentation.

A Brief Report:
The economics club organised inter-class Debate competition on 29-05-2021. The event was hosted by Stephy Varghese (IV Sem BSc (EMS) and Siya (II Sem BA). The students participated actively and won prizes. The winners of the event are, Aleena Reji (IV Sem BSc (EMS), Surega II Sem BA and Hemant Reddy from II Sem BCom A&F.

To seek knowledge about the given topic.
Evaluates group presentation skills.

OUTCOME OF THE EVENT:
Improves communication skills.
To improve critical and analytical thinking.

1. It’s a team event comprising 2 to 3 students.
2. Time limit is 5 min.
3. Participants should turn the video during their presentation.
4. Judges’ decision is final and binding.
5. Winners are awarded based on Clarity of the content, team presentation skill, coordination and over all presentation.

A Brief Repot: The department of Economics conducted “The Economic Forum-Inter class group presentation on “Crypto Currency: is a bright future or just a fad? The competition was hosted by Anshika Rai from II Sem BA. There were 15 teams presented on the given topic, the winners of the event are, Harish and team-IV Sem BCom regular, Vamshi Reddy and team -II Sem BA, Avinash and team -II Sem Bcom Hnrs.

NAME OF THE EVENT: MIND SPRING- AN ECONOMICS QUIZ COMPETITION:
OBJECTIVES OF THE EVENT:
• To understand the current issues in economy.
• To analyse and evaluate the students’ knowledge.

OUTCOME OF THE EVENT:
• Opportunity to showcase students hidden talent.
• Increases students’ participation in various events.

1. It’s a team event.
2. There will be three rounds
3. After first round there will be elimination.
4. Top three teams will be selected based on the highest points.
