2. Brief details of the event: The guest lecture was organized by the Commerce department on 26th June 2024. Dr. Jesmon Raj, Head Department of Commerce presided over as the guest speaker and topic of his discussion was “Indian Contract Act”. Began with an introduction to the contract and agreement and essential of valid contract as per section 10 by taking various case studies and connecting the same to the classification of various contract and how it is important in the near future. Following this, he connected the various categories of contract with day to day examples and case studies. Most importantly he mentioned the differences of valid contract, void contract, and voidable contract and so on. He concluded by discussing the significance of the contract act and the importance of study of the contract law and concluded the session with quotes on education in which the session was conducted in second floor seminar hall.

6. Learning Outcomes- By studying the corporate Regulatory Framework, students can learn about the legal framework that governs corporate operations as well as how to follow guidelines. A fundamental understanding of the primary rules and regulations governing business operations, such as hiring staff and forming companies, should be presented to students.
