Dr.Soniya has been associated with St. Francis College, Bangalore from July 2019. She took over as Head of BBA Department on August 2019. She has more than 10 years of experience in Teaching and Research. She obtained her Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai in the area of Marketing. She has done her Master's degree from SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore in the area Finance and Marketing.

She has been involved in teaching Marketing, Financial Services, Research Methodology and other marketing oriented subjects at post Graduate level to the students of Management. She has attended and presented papers in the area of Marketing and published around 35 research articles in refereed international and national journals which have been widely acclaimed.

Her Research focuses on global versus local marketing; marketing strategy; innovation and current trends; brand management and so on. She has organized and conducted various workshops, Inter Collegiate Meets, Seminars and Conferences. Besides She is peer reviewer of American Texila University and also conducted various training programs for Blue Collars at Riya Chemy. She has also guided more than 50 M.Phil, UG and Post Graduates research projects.
