Objective of the activity :
This FDP is basically organised for the benefit of the faculties keeping in mind the new syllabus under NEP Scheme. The Program is planned to help teaching fraternity especially the Non Aviation ones to understand the Pedagogy and level of depth to teach in the subject

How was the activity executed ?
The activity was executed on 31st January 2023 through offline mode in the 4th floor seminar hall and 6th floor Aircraft Simulation/Mock classroom to the participants from various colleges at 10 am onwards. The session started with a Introduction by Ms.Maria Glory Antony, Welcome address by Principal , Prayer , Speech by Chief guest Dr.H Bhavani, President , BCUTCCM and Introduction of resource persons by Ms.Chethana G and Ms.Thejaswini . Further, resource persons took over the session for entire day upto 5pm.( Lunch and refreshments were arranged)

Session 1: Basics of Passenger and special handling: This session was handled by Vandana N Revankar in Mock classroom with actual airport experience to guests and participants. Topics covered were of basics of Airport and Airline handling, Special passenger handling procedures. Handout of materials were provided to participants

Session 2: Passenger and Baggage handling procedures : This session was taken by Mr. Sharath covering the topics like check-in, boarding and baggage concepts in detal.

Session 3: Ramp handling : The session was handled by Pilot. Dennis Almeida who elaborated on RAMP safety and procedures. All the queries were addressed by the all the resource persons. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks and felicitation

Activities Conducted : Live interaction with the Faculties with real time Scenarios.

Key Highlights : Most faculties were from Non Aviation background and felt delighted with the Airport experience and the FDP. It was highly useful for most of them.
