Objective : The main objective of the seminar was to enable the audience to understand the process and procedure involved in income tax E-filing, and also make them aware of deductions available under sec 80 C to 80 U.

Seminar started at 05:20 PM. At first, the resource person was welcomed by Dr. Srikanth, Assistant Professor, Department of Management. The resource person started the session by interacting with faculty and students and taking them through a power point presentation. Key points discussed are filing of income tax, investment options, deductions for donations, deductions for medical treatment of specified disease, linking Pan card with Aadhar, E-verification of tax filing, deduction of interest from savings bank account, need for filing of returns and the benefits of the same.

Faculty and students were educated on the importance of income tax filing and its role in our life in addition to the intricacies involved in filing and the right processes to follow in order to successfully submit your tax details in the IRS system, Finally, the resource person concluded by touching upon useful topics. The session was very fruitful and ended with Question-and-Answer session.
