NAME OF THE EVENT : JAM (JUST A MINUTE)
OBJECTIVE OF THE EVENT : To provide a platform for the students to exhibit their knowledge on current events and communication skills
OUTCOME OF THE EVENT : The students at the end of the event were very happy with the competition and also was glad in receiving many current information from other participants.

RULES OF COMPETITION:
1) The participants are expected to have a good internet connection.
2) The participants are requested to join the meeting on time.
3) Duplicate / Unofficial entries will be automatically removed.
4) Participants are expected to maintain utmost discipline. Any form of malpractice shall lead to disqualification.
5) The participants are expected to keep their microphones and videos off.
6) Participants are expected to unmute themselves and speak only when asked to.
7) If the participant doesn’t respond in 10 seconds, then he/she will be marked absent.
8) Topics are given on the spot.
9) Judges’ decision is Final. No arguments are entertained

A BRIEF REPORT:
The competition started at 3:00 p.m. on 28th May 2021. Dr Ramya K, Convenor, gave an introduction and welcome the gathering. The judges of the events were Ms. Deepa and Mr. Rakesh. Each Participant were given a topic on the spot by way of letting them choose a number which were in turn linked to the topic. There were 14 participants. They were given 1 minute to speak. Finally, the competition got its first, second and third winners and their names are mentioned in this report. The event got a very good feedback from the participants who were looking forward to participate in the upcoming competitions organized by Vanijya.
