The Investiture Ceremony of ST. Francis College Kormangala, for the academic session 2021-2022 was held on 13 December, with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony in the college quadrangle. The event was presided over by the Director, Bro. Antony Vayalil the torch bearer of the institution, deputy Director, Bro. Peter & the college Principal, Dr. R N Subbharao. It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion.

The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the college consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by readings from the holy scriptures, and a graceful welcome dance performed by Eshwari, final year B.A student.

The elected Leaders’ profiles were displayed on the Screen. They were conferred with badges and sashes by Rev. Bro Antony and Bro Peter. The students’ council took the pledge to uphold the college motto of Unity, Love and Knowledge in high esteem. The Principal Dr. R N Subbarao congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values of the institution. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their college and peers. He advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the college. The function concluded with the college Anthem.
