Objectives of the Event : An icebreaker is a facilitation exercise intended to help members of a group begin the process of forming themselves into a team. Icebreakers are commonly presented as a game to "warm up" the group by helping the members to get to know each other.
How was the event Executed? The activity was executed via online Zoom meetings at 2.00 pm and the communications regarding the same were made in advance to the students. The students joined the session and the activity was started under the guidance of event in charge.
Level of Achievement : Satisfactory/ Non-Satisfactory - Satisfactory.
Activities Conducted : Virtual Scavenger Hunt & Lost in Space
Key Highlight : Students were excited with team building activities and they have utilized the opportunities to build trust and loyalty. For a team building session to be most effective, it needs to close by summarizing what was learned and giving participants the opportunity to reflect on the day's events. Good closing activities can help ensure that the training and team building transfers back to the workplace.
Recommendations (if any) : Offline ice breaking activities will be more effective than online and Learners will be comfortable with interacting within groups so every month one Saturday is dedicated for ice breaking session.
