On 9th June 2023, Final year B.Sc., EMS Students of St. Francis College had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Data Processing Centre (DPC), National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Bengaluru. First of all ISS officer Smt. P.A. Mini, ISS Deputy Director General took one hour to explain to our students clearly everything about NSSO jobs and how to plan. After that, ISS officer Ms. Anilakumari T ISS, Joint Director gave a one-hour-long lecture to our students on how to separate the two projects and find out the mistakes in them. In between they served us sweet snacks and tea. Following their lessons they went to the lab to show us the process. They assigned two officers in the training room to train our students and those two officers were very clear to our students on how to do the tasks in it and how to correct the errors in it and how we have to complete the tasks in the end, they showed the process to the students very clearly for two hours. After that, the Director and DPT Director explained very clearly to our students about the ISS-related assignments and explained everything very clearly about the assignments in this subject and how to prepare for them wherever the assignments.
