The Commerce Club - Unicorn Squad Organised an event called The Best Accountant. Ms. Chithra and Ms. Amrutha from the department of Commerce were the faculty coordinates. Gokul from VI semester B.Com (A&F), Samitha from IV semester B. Com (A&F) and Lokesh from II semester B. Com (A&F) were the student coordinators for the event. The objective of conducting the event was to develop and inculcate the skills of accounting among students. 30 students registered for the event and 26 students were present on the day of the event. The event had 2 rounds.

Round 1: Preliminary Round
The first round of the event was on 12/05/2023 (Friday). 30 students registered for the event and 26 were present on the day of the event. In the first round, A set of multiple choice questions were included, that is basic questions of accounting. The participants had to finish all 30 questions in 25 minutes. The total score was 30 marks. Out of 26 Participants, 10 were shortlisted for the 2nd round.

Round 2: Analytical round (Final round)
The second round of the event was on 17/05/2003 (Wednesday). 10 students were qualified for the final round and only 8 showed up on the day of event. A problem on P/L a/c and balance sheet were given and included 20 questions based on the problem. The time given to slove the problem and answer the questions were 1 hour.
