The English Club, Muses, organised Achievers’ Day to honour the students who excelled in various literary activities conducted during the academic year 2021-22 . The event was conducted on 25/8/2022 at 2:45 pm in the Quadrangle.

Director, Bro. Antony Vyalil, Deputy Director, Bro. Peter, Principal, Dr. R. N. Subba Rao, Dean, Ms. Annie John, faculty members from various departments of the college, and students from BCom, BBA, BCA, and BA attended the programme.

61 students attended the programme.
Ms. Archana welcomed the gathering.
Students of IV Semester BA performed the play Hayavadhana by Girish Karnad. The concept of the play was excellently demonstrated by the characters.

A dance performance by Sudheer and team from IV Sem BCA followed this. Through their presentation, the students brought Charlie Chaplin to life.

Prizes were distributed to students who excelled in various literary activities during the academic year 2021-22. The winners were felicitated by the Director, Deputy Director and Principal.
Portia is one of the most famous and adored female characters in Shakespeare’s canon, and her “Mercy Speech” is an excellent monologue for an actor’s repertoire. The monologue of Portia was performed by Ms.Siya of IV Semester BA.

The greatest Shakespearean play, "Macbeth," was performed by BBA and BA students, and the characters presented a wonderful fabrication of expression and dialogue.

A dance illustrating the theme of poverty was then performed by students of II Sem BBA "A" Section. They realistically depicted the world's hunger problem, the suffering of the poor, and the lack of educational opportunities.

Mr.Ashith entertained the audience with his fantastic instrumental music.
The final event of the whole programme was the Ball Dance.

The Deputy Director congratulated the students' achievements and appreciated the event coordinators for their guidance. The event concluded with Vote of Thanks by Mr.Gagan Students gave positive feedback about the programme. They expressed their interest in participating in more events organised by the Department.
