SEMINAR ON ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION
A session on Open LLM Hackathon was organized by the BCA Department and held in the 4th Floor Seminar Hall of the college. The event brought together students and faculties to explore the potential of open-source large language models (LLMs). The hackathon aimed to inspire participants to create innovative, real-world applications using these models, emphasizing accessibility, ethics, and creativity in the AI space

VerbaTact: The Battle of Wits was held on 09 July 2025 by the Department of MCA to enhance postgraduate students’ communication skills, logical thinking, and verbal articulation through an engaging intellectual activity.
The Workshop – PyCon India 2025 was conducted on 12 September 2025 at St. Francis College, organized by the Department of BCA in association with IQAC. As part of the national PyCon India 2025 conference, the workshop focused on providing hands-on learning in Python and its ecosystem.

A session on Cyber Security was held on 10/02/2026 to create awareness about protecting computers, networks, and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats. The programme highlighted the importance of safe online practices and digital privacy in today’s technology-driven world.
The department organized a 3-day Generative AI Workshop from 16–02–2026 to 18–02–2026 at the 6th Floor Seminar Hall and Computer Lab to enhance students’ understanding of cloud-based AI services, machine learning techniques, and practical AI applications
This is an intra-department individual editing event. Participants will be provided with a sample clip or image by the organizers and are required to complete the editing within 1 hour using only the permitted software. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
The Department of MCA, St. Francis College, Bengaluru organized an Alumni Talk on Career & Tech Trends on 21-02-2026 to provide students with industry insights, career guidance, and awareness of emerging technology trends through interactive alumni sessions
A SQL Data Exploration activity was conducted on 17-01-2026 with 14 teams to enhance students’ practical understanding of database querying and analytical skills, recognizing top-performing teams based on query accuracy and performance.

The industrial visit to the Karnataka Milk Federation dairy plant on 27-01-2026 provided students with practical exposure to milk processing, automated packaging systems, and dairy supply chain operations, enhancing their understanding of real-time industrial practices and technology in the dairy industry.
The “Mind to Machine” event, organized by the Impetus IT Club of the Department of Computer Applications on 17th March 2026, was an intra-department activity aimed at bridging the gap between UI design and functional code using Generative AI.
