IOT Workshop

 

The Department of Computer Applications (BCA), St. Francis College, Bengaluru, organized a half-day IoT Workshop on 25th April 2026 as part of an IQAC initiative. The session was conducted from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Lab.

The workshop was led by Mr. Nixon E, Founder & Director of Tecknots, who provided valuable insights into the fundamentals of Internet of Things (IoT), its real-world applications, and emerging industry trends. The session also included practical exposure, enabling students to understand how IoT concepts can be applied in developing innovative solutions.

The workshop was specifically designed for IV BCA students to prepare them for their upcoming V Semester Project, helping them build a strong foundation in problem-solving, design thinking, and implementation.

Students actively participated in the session and gained hands-on experience, making it an engaging and enriching learning experience. The initiative was well-received and appreciated by the participants for its relevance and practical orientation.
