

The industrial visit to the Karnataka Milk Federation dairy plant was an informative and practical learning experience. During the visit, students observed the complete journey of milk from collection to final packaging. The officials explained the processes of milk testing, pasteurization, homogenization, and cold storage, along with the strict hygiene and quality control measures followed at every stage.
Aimed at learning about automated machinery used for processing and packaging dairy products like milk, curd, butter, and ghee.
The visit helped to understand real-time industrial operations, supply chain flow, and safety standards followed in large-scale dairy production. It connected theoretical knowledge with real industrial practices and gave better insight into dairy plant management and technology.
Gained knowledge about procurement systems, inventory control, cold chain logistics, supply chain and distribution networks and their automation.
Helping students appreciate the use of software technology in the dairy industry domain.Students developed observational, analytical, and questioning skills through interaction with industry professionals.
