Industrial Visit to IISc Open Day 2026

 

 The Department of MCA of St. Francis College, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized an Industrial Visit to the Open Day event at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru on Saturday, 7 March 2026. The visit was conducted from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the objective of providing students with exposure to advanced research, technological innovations, and ongoing scientific developments.
 
Students of the MCA department actively participated in the visit and were accompanied by faculty members including Dr. Nazura Jave Kutty, Head of the Department (HOD), Mr. C. Krishnan, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Prince Priyaraj, Assistant Professor. The faculty members guided the students throughout the visit and encouraged them to explore various research exhibits and interact with researchers.
 
During the visit, the students explored numerous exhibition stalls and laboratories presented by different departments. The exhibits covered diverse domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Robotics. Researchers and student volunteers explained the concepts, working models, and real-world applications of their projects.
 
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to observe the practical implementation of theoretical concepts learned in their academic curriculum. It also helped them gain insights into current technological trends, research methodologies, and innovative developments in the field of science and technology.
