The Department of English  has been in existence since the inception of the college in 2019. Apart from the compulsory Generic English subject, we offer Additional English as a second language for all streams  and Optional English for BA students in our undergraduate programs. The Department tries to instill in students a critical sense of self and society and to mould them into responsible and socially sensitive citizens. With a team of dedicated faculty members, the Department continues to explore new avenues in its pursuit of excellence. We offer intensive mentoring for our students in and out of the classroom through a variety of forums. Learning is a joy in the department which fosters intellectual curiosity and ambience
