SPELL CRAFT – A Spell Bee Adventure II Organised By Department of English

 

 

The Department of English, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a “Spell Craft” event at St. Francis College on 5th March from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event was conducted in the Seminar Hall on the 4th floor and was designed as an engaging Spell Bee competition aimed at improving students’ vocabulary and spelling skills in a fun and interactive manner.

A total of 21 students enthusiastically participated in the competition. The event provided a platform for students to challenge their language abilities while also learning new words and correct spellings. The competition was structured in different rounds where participants were asked to spell words of varying difficulty. Each round tested the students’ listening skills, pronunciation awareness, and knowledge of vocabulary.

The main objective of the event was to encourage students to develop a stronger command of the English language. Through this activity, students were able to expand their vocabulary and become more confident in their language usage. The friendly competitive atmosphere also made the learning process enjoyable and engaging for all participants.

The event witnessed active participation and enthusiasm from the students, making it both lively and educational. The organizers ensured that the competition was conducted smoothly and fairly, allowing every participant the opportunity to showcase their skills.
