PIXEL TO PROSE | Muses Club

On the 24th of April, 2026 the Muses club, department of English organised a unique story-writing competition titled “Pixel to Prose”- organised by Ms. Annu Sara Jose and the student co-ordinator for the same was Kishan G.  The event witnessed a good number of participation with students submitting unique stories on the pictures provided.

“Pixel to Prose” is not just a journey of medium, but of meaning. Pixels capture immediacy—they are quick, vibrant, and alive with the pulse of the present. But prose offer permanence. They allow us to slow down, to reflect, and to revisit emotions long after the screen has dimmed. Every story today may begin as a digital spark—a thought typed into notes, a caption beneath a photo, or a fleeting idea shared online. But when that spark is nurtured, expanded, and written onto a page, it evolves into something timeless. Prose hold what pixels cannot: the weight of introspection, the rhythm of language, and the intimacy of a voice speaking directly to the reader.

The students could manifest this transformation into something deeply personal. It reminds us that while technology shapes how we express, it does not define what we feel. Behind every pixel is a human experience waiting to be understood, and behind every page is a story waiting to be remembered.

“Pixel to Pages” celebrates this bridge—where modern expression meets timeless storytelling. It is an invitation to take what is temporary and make it enduring, to turn scattered digital thoughts into narratives that can be held, shared, and cherished because in the end, stories deserve more than a scroll—they deserve a page.
