Crossword Competition (Muses Club)

 

                                                            

The English Club, Muses, organized a “Crosswordex” competition for undergraduate students across all courses on March 30, 2026, at 2:30 PM in the Seminar Hall (Fourth Floor). The competition aimed to test participants’ vocabulary, language skills, and knowledge of literary figures and authors.

A total of 25 students participated with great enthusiasm. Each participant was given a crossword puzzle consisting of 25 questions, with a time limit of one hour to complete it. The puzzles were carefully curated to include a wide range of topics—from English grammar to prominent literary personalities and their works. The competition successfully fostered a spirit of healthy competition among the students.

Participants displayed keen interest and dedication throughout the event, making it a lively and engaging session. Overall, the competition  was well received. Participants shared positive feedback, appreciating the uniqueness of the activity and the opportunity it provided to test and enhance their language proficiency in an enjoyable manner. They also expressed interest in participating in similar events in the future.
