The Essence of Expression Essay Competition was successfully conducted on 4th March at St. Francis College, providing a vibrant platform for students to articulate their ideas, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The event took place in Room No. 113 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.
The primary objective of the competition was to encourage students to express their thoughts on contemporary themes, enhance their writing abilities, and foster a spirit of intellectual engagement. The topic for the essay was thoughtfully chosen to inspire originality, reflection, and meaningful discourse, allowing participants to explore diverse perspectives and present their insights effectively.
A total of 50 students participated in the competition, each bringing unique viewpoints and writing styles. The atmosphere during the event was focused and intellectually stimulating, with participants deeply engaged in organizing their ideas and articulating them within the stipulated time. The competition not only tested their writing proficiency but also their ability to think critically under time constraints.
The essays were evaluated based on clarity of thought, coherence, originality, language proficiency, and overall presentation.
