Short Film to Pen

 

                                                 

The event “Short Film to Pen” was conducted for Journalism students on April 15th with the aim of enhancing their reporting and analytical skills. The students were screened a 7-minute short film titled “Umbrella.” The film served as the central material for the exercise, allowing students to observe narrative elements, character portrayal, emotions, and underlying messages. Following the screening, participants were given 45 minutes to write a report based on their understanding, interpretation, and observation of the film. The activity encouraged students to think critically, organise their thoughts, and present them effectively in a journalistic format.
