SQL- Based Data Query Competition

 

                                                               

A data exploration activity using SQL was conducted to enhance students’ practical understanding of database querying and analytical thinking. Students were grouped into teams consisting of two to three members each. A total of 14 teams participated in the activity.

Each team was provided with 10 SQL-based problem statements, focusing on data retrieval, filtering, aggregation, and logical conditions. The objective of the exercise was to assess students’ ability to write accurate, efficient, and logically correct SQL queries. 

After evaluation of all submissions, three teams were selected based on the correctness of queries, use of appropriate SQL constructs, and overall performance.
