Chakora: Literary Series – 14 | Lankesh's Literature

 

                                                                        

The Karnataka Sahitya Academy and St. Francis College, Koramangala, jointly organized the 'CHAKORA' lecture series on April 23, 2026. The event was inaugurated by Suma Satish, while the guest of honor, Dr. T.H. Lavakumar, delivered an insightful lecture on "Authority and Love in Lankesh's Literature." During his talk, he highlighted how writer P. Lankesh used satire to critique the system while emphasizing the importance of humanity and relationships. Following the lecture, students from the B. Com and BCA departments actively engaged in a Q&A session to explore the societal relevance of Lankesh's work. Organized by the Kannada Department, the program was a grand success in fostering literary dialogue among the youth.
