Carnivalesque’26
Carnivalesque ’26, organized by the Student Council of St. Francis College, was successfully conducted on 24th and 25th February 2026 as a National Level Inter-Collegiate Fest. The fest was presented under the powerful theme “Marenox”, symbolizing hidden depths — the untapped potential, unseen talents, and inner brilliance within every participant.
The event recorded an impressive 591 registrations from students representing various colleges across the nation. Featuring a total of 40 diverse events, the fest was structured under Academic, Cultural, Sports, and eSports categories, providing a holistic and inclusive platform for talent expression.
The Academic segment fostered analytical and strategic thinking through intellectually engaging competitions. The Cultural events brought vibrant artistic expression to life through dance, music, theatre, fashion, literary, and media competitions. The Sports category promoted teamwork, endurance, and sportsmanship across multiple indoor and outdoor games for both men and women. The eSports segment added a contemporary competitive edge, attracting enthusiastic participation from tech-savvy students.
Spanning two dynamic days, the fest witnessed energetic performances, healthy competition, and remarkable coordination across venues. True to its theme, Marenox, Carnivalesque ’26 successfully brought to light the hidden depths of talent within students, transforming potential into performance and passion into achievement.
Adding grandeur to the fest were the vibrant Noctix Cultural Nights, which elevated the celebration beyond competitions:
Day 1 featured a lively stand-up comedy performance by Gautham Govindan, followed by the dynamic Francisian Showcase, highlighting the in-house talents of St. Francis College students.
Day 2 witnessed an electrifying live concert by Mannat The Band, followed by an energetic DJ performance by DJ South Soul, creating an unforgettable musical experience for the audience.
The prestigious Overall Championship Trophy was won by Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, recognizing their outstanding performance across multiple events.
Carnivalesque ’26 thus stood as a grand celebration of culture, intellect, athletic excellence, and innovation, leaving a lasting impact on participants and organizers alike.
