ABOUT ISR (INSTITUTIONAL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY)

The Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) Committee of St. Francis college formed in the academic year 2019-2020 plays a pivotal role in promoting social awareness and ethical values among students and faculty. The committee actively engages in community development programs, sustainability initiatives, and outreach activities that align with the institution's commitment to social welfare. By collaborating with NGOs, government bodies, and local communities, it addresses key societal issues such as education, environmental conservation, healthcare, and social equity. Through volunteering, awareness campaigns, and skill-building workshops, the ISR Committee empowers students to become socially responsible citizens and change-makers. Its initiatives reflect the college's dedication to fostering inclusivity, compassion, and sustainable progress. ISR Committee plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world challenges.

Objectives of the ISR Committee

2. Sustainability Initiatives: Promote environmental responsibility through activities such as tree plantation drives, waste management, and clean energy awareness.

3. Education and Skill Development: Organize literacy programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives for underprivileged communities.

4. Healthcare and Well-being: Conduct health camps, blood donation drives, and mental health awareness programs.

5. Social Equity and Inclusivity: Support marginalized communities by advocating for gender equality, disability inclusion, and rights-based initiatives.
