Visit to Karunashraya Cancer Care Centre

The AICUF and College Outreach Cell of St. Francis College, under an IQAC initiative, organized a volunteer visit to the Karunashraya Cancer Care Centre on 18th April 2026 at Marathahalli.

The visit commenced with a briefing about the centre and its operations by the PR Coordinator, Ms. Priya, who provided valuable insights into the services and care offered at the facility. Following the briefing, the student volunteers were divided into three groups and assigned various service activities, including sweeping the premises, wiping glass doors, and cleaning the terrace.

After the completion of the service activities, Ms. Priya distributed trophies and certificates to the winners of various events as well as to the AICUF core members in recognition of their efforts and contributions.

The program concluded with the handing over of grocery donations collected by the students for the benefit of the residents. The event ended on a note of gratitude with a vote of thanks, marking a meaningful and impactful outreach experience for all participants
