A Grand National-Level Shayeri competition at St. Francis College, Koramangala, hosted a grand national-level poetry competition, “Shaam Shayarana,” on 13 April 2026, organized by the Hindi Department. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 18 teams across various colleges, along with around 40 online poetry entries from across India. The competition featured three engaging rounds—Kalam Presentation, Misra Adding, and Sher Battle.
The program was graced by esteemed judges Dr. Lata Chauhan and Mr. Akram Ulla Beg. Distinguished guests, including Director Brother Dr. Titus Anto and Principal Dr. R.N. Subba Rao, also attended. The event was enriched with ghazal singing, musical performances, and a captivating Kathak dance.
Anchors Owais and Tamanna skilfully conducted the event, earning appreciation from the judges. Dr. Prachi Tripathi was the Event coordinator . Three winning teams were awarded based on their performance. The event celebrated literary talent, creativity, and cultural heritage, leaving a lasting impression on all participants and attendees.
