An industrial visit to Wayanad was organized with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to industries based on agriculture, tourism, and small-scale enterprises. Wayanad, known for its rich natural resources and eco-friendly practices, offered an ideal learning environment to understand sustainable industrial and business activities. During the visit, students were introduced to plantation-based industries such as tea, coffee, spices, and bamboo-based units. The officials explained the production processes, sourcing of raw materials, quality control measures, and the role of technology in improving productivity while maintaining environmental balance. Students also learned about value addition, packaging, and branding of agricultural products. The visit included interactions with tourism and hospitality units, where students gained insights into service management, customer handling, and the importance of responsible tourism.
