Retail Space Design and Visual Merchandising Study Visit

The Department organized a study visit to Forum Mall, South Bangalore for the 1st and 2nd year students on 11 March 2026. The visit was arranged to provide practical exposure to retail space design and visual merchandising concepts. During the visit, students observed different retail outlets and analysed store layouts, window displays, lighting, branding, and product presentation techniques used in modern retail environments. The visit helped students connect their classroom learning with real-world design practices. It was an informative and engaging experience that enhanced students’ understanding of how visual design and merchandising play an important role in attracting customers and creating effective retail spaces.
