The Department of Training & Placements, in association with the Department of MCA, organized the Pre-Placement Training Series – Grooming Etiquettes on 16 June 2026 for final-year MCA students. The session was conducted by Ms. Sneha A., Training & Placements Officer, and focused on preparing students to create a positive first impression during campus recruitment and professional interactions. Students were introduced to industry expectations regarding professional grooming, interview etiquette, effective communication, and appropriate body language. The resource person provided practical guidance on professional attire, personal grooming, confident posture, and essential interview etiquette, including greeting the interview panel and responding to questions with clarity and confidence. Through interactive discussions and practical insights, the session enhanced students' understanding of professional conduct and equipped them with the confidence and skills required to perform effectively in placement interviews.

The Department of Training & Placements, in association with the Department of MCA, organized the Pre-Placement Training Series – Interview Preparation on 17 June 2026 at the Seminar Hall for final-year MCA students. The session was led by Ms. Smitha Koshy, Head – Training & Placements, and focused on preparing students for campus recruitment by providing a comprehensive understanding of the interview process. Students were guided through every stage of an interview, including pre-interview preparation, professional grooming, formal attire, body language, eye contact, self-introduction, communication with interview panels, and post-interview etiquette. The interactive session also highlighted the importance of confidence, active listening, and professional behaviour while offering valuable insights into employer expectations and recruitment practices. The programme enabled students to strengthen their interview skills, enhance their professional presence, and improve their readiness for placement opportunities.
