Mock Interview for Final Year MCA Students 2026

 

The Department of Training & Placements, in association with the Department of MCA, organized a Mock Interview on 18 June 2026. The session was conducted as a one-day pre-placement activity with the objective of preparing final-year MCA students for upcoming campus recruitment drives. A total of 33 students actively participated in the interview process.

The mock interview was designed to simulate a real corporate recruitment experience. Students were assessed by MCA faculty on their technical knowledge, programming concepts, subject fundamentals, and problem-solving abilities, while the Training & Placement Officer evaluated communication skills, confidence, resume presentation, professional etiquette, grooming, and overall interview performance. The activity provided students with valuable exposure to industry-style interview expectations and recruitment practices.

The session proved to be a valuable learning experience for the participants. Most students demonstrated confidence in presenting themselves and explaining their resumes, while constructive feedback highlighted areas requiring improvement, particularly in technical competency, body language, and corporate readiness. The mock interview significantly enhanced students' interview preparedness, confidence, and employability, making them better equipped to face future campus placement opportunities.
