Literacy in Bloom : English and Kannada Newsletters Launched on Achievers’ Day at St Francis College

 

 

                                                                  

The Department of Languages of St Francis College celebrated Achievers’ Day on May 12, 2026, to honor the academic and creative achievements of students and faculty members. The major highlight of the event was the official release of the campus's English and Kannada Newsletters, alongside a special Kannada Poetry Book featuring poems written by students of St Francis College and other participating colleges. The celebration also included an inspiring prize distribution ceremony where students were awarded for their excellence in various literary activities and competitions throughout the academic year. The grand event was graced by Principal Dr. R. N. Subba Rao, Evening College Principal Dr. Karthik, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Anusha, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students, who all highly appreciated the department's efforts in fostering a rich literary culture on campus.
